IDFWO is proud to announce the completion of its first ever Hanukkah Retreat for our teen orphans "Otzma Group", which took place Dec. 21-23rd, 2011 in north of Israel.

 
15th Anniversary of IDF Helicopter Disaster
The worst air disaster in the history of the IDF occurred exactly 15 years ago, as two Yas'ur helicopters transporting soldiers to southern Lebanon collided. 73 IDF soldiers perished in the tragic accident.

 
A year of firsts, without my beloved
As a result of the Carmel Mountain wildfire disaster in December of 2010, IDFWO has embraced 33 widows and 51 orphans who have since been supported by our organization and fellow bereaved families.

 
Business opportunities workshop for Druze women at Yirka village
